In questa pagina riportiamo un elenco degli assi della caccia della Seconda Guerra Mondiale del Regno Unito e dell’Impero Britannico; si tratta di un elenco incompleto e con molte imprecisioni, lo sappiamo. Cercheremo di migliorarlo e di revisionarlo nel tempo, possibilmente incrociando i dati con fonti diverse e integrando alcuni dati mancanti. Per esempio non ci sono informazioni riguardo al grado, agli aerei usati ma soprattutto quello che vorremmo riuscire a fare è produrre un elenco suddiviso per forza aerea più che per nazione di origine del pilota, molto più interessante sarebbe – ad esempio – un elenco di tutti gli assi che volarono per la RAF, compresi i piloti di origine straniere. Magari un giorno ci arriveremo.
